With 18 years of hands-on experience working with not-for-profit organizations, Mark offers a versatile combination of accounting, operations, strategic management, and leadership talents. Skilled at full-cycle administrative accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and process improvements, he is always keen to help maximize the performance and efficiencies of any business with which he works. Mark has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, as well as a strong background in operations and human resources, including payroll and health benefits.
“I really enjoy all the challenges that come with accounting. Clients know that I work hard for them, and that I communicate the numbers in a way that’s easy to understand for financial decision making.”
Mark knows that trusting the numbers is not only critical in accounting, but for the organization to be truly successful. He’s detail-oriented and enjoys solving problems to help organizations achieve their goals.
A native Midwesterner, Mark grew up in Leawood, Kansas, a suburb of the greater Kansas City Metropolitan area. Since his wife is from a very large family in Naperville, it was inevitable that they would call Illinois home.
Like many of our Gen Numerics team, Mark is passionate about music. “I love all types of music! I play the piano and I’m learning to play the guitar.” These days, he’s adding photography and cooking to his repertoire as well.
